Minimum speeds: right lane rule and exceptions

A distinctive feature of Yucatán’s Reglamento is that most roads have a minimum speed as well as a maximum. A vehicle driven below the minimum must keep to the far right, except when preparing to turn left. Funeral hearses are allowed to travel below the minimums on the Periférico, on avenues divided by a median and on primary roads (fractions II, III and IV of Article 236).
