Traffic light arrows: green and red

A red light combined with a green arrow lets you move ONLY in the direction the arrow indicates (Article 308, section I). A red arrow, alone or combined, prohibits moving in the arrow’s direction, though you may move in the direction a green light allows (section II). A green arrow lets you enter the intersection to make the indicated movement, always yielding to pedestrians (section VII).
