Unsignalized intersections: the vehicle on the right

When two vehicles approach an unsignalized intersection at the same time from different roads of equal dimension, the driver who sees the other approaching on their right side must yield: the vehicle coming from the right has preference.

No driver may ever claim preference at an intersection while driving against the direction of traffic or in reverse (Fuente: Reglamento de la Ley de Tránsito y Vialidad del Estado de Yucatán, Artículo 242).
