U-turns: who yields to whom

Making a U-turn at an intersection whose cross street is two-way, you must yield to vehicles coming in the opposite direction — but you have preference over vehicles on the cross street that intend to turn right.

No driver may make a U-turn on or near a curve or a crest where the vehicle cannot be seen by other drivers from a safe distance, according to the road’s maximum permitted speed (Fuente: Reglamento de la Ley de Tránsito y Vialidad del Estado de Yucatán, Artículo 252).
