Reversing: always yield — with one exception

A driver moving in reverse must yield and allow free movement to vehicles traveling forward.

The single exception: when two vehicles try to enter the same parallel parking space at the same time, preference belongs to the one entering in reverse — solely and exclusively for the purpose of parking (Fuente: Reglamento de la Ley de Tránsito y Vialidad del Estado de Yucatán, Artículo 246).
