Left turns on two-way streets

On a two-way street, a driver turning left must yield to vehicles coming from the opposite direction. The turning driver waits for a safe gap; oncoming through traffic has the right of way. (Reglamento de la Ley de Tránsito y Vialidad del Estado de Yucatán, Artículo 243.)
