Left turn on red onto one-way streets

A signature Yucatán rule: the left turn is also continuous — allowed even on a red light — when the street you are entering is one-way. You must follow the same steps as the continuous right turn: stop on red, look both ways, yield to pedestrians and vehicles, and turn with caution.

On two-way roads, the left turn across the continuous line or double line dividing the two directions is restricted (Fuente: Reglamento de la Ley de Tránsito y Vialidad del Estado de Yucatán, Artículo 251).
