Emergency vehicle behind you at a red light

On one-way streets and at intersections, drivers must not remain stopped in a way that blocks the path of an emergency vehicle: they are obliged to turn with caution toward whichever side circulation allows — even when the traffic light orders them to stop.

It is also prohibited to follow an emergency vehicle on duty, and to stop or park less than 100 meters from the place where the emergency crew is operating (Fuente: Reglamento de la Ley de Tránsito y Vialidad del Estado de Yucatán, Artículo 286).
