The obligation to take the tests

All drivers are required to submit to the tests established to detect intoxication by alcohol, drugs, psychotropics, narcotics or similar substances. The obligation also covers road users involved in a traffic incident or accident. At the request of the person concerned, or by order of a judicial authority, the tests may be repeated for contrast purposes through blood, urine or similar analyses.
