Administrative arrest for alcohol and drugs

Among the traffic sanctions is administrative arrest for up to 36 hours (art. 448). This arrest applies, among other cases, to the infractions covered by articles 326, 328 and 332 of the Reglamento — the alcohol and drugs block. In every case, the first eight hours of the arrest are non-commutable, and the arrest is served at the Secretariat’s preventive facilities (art. 452).
